SISU Project Manager

We are seeking a project manager to lead a regional development project SisuKainuu – The Direction of Education in Kainuu. The project involves building a cooperation model between municipalities in Kainuu for basic education. The goal is to enhance the quality, accessibility, and equality of education, addressing similar structural and pedagogical challenges faced by the municipalities. The position is fixed‑term, starting on September 1, 2026, or by agreement, until July 31, 2028.

Responsibilities:

• Overall project management, planning, and implementation oversight
• Collaboration with municipalities in Kainuu, education services, and other stakeholders
• Steering group work and reporting to the funder
• Coordinating work packages (collaboration structures, curriculum work, pilots)
• Embedding results and communication
