Position Overview
The Simulation Engineer will be responsible for defining manufacturing processes, developing technical layouts, and performing robotic simulations to optimize efficiency and ensure project feasibility. This role requires solid experience in industrial processes and proficiency in simulation software.
Key Responsibilities
Define manufacturing processes, including tightening and assembly operations.
Develop technical layout definitions for production cells and lines.
Calculate cycle times and Takt Time to meet productivity targets.
Perform robotic simulations using software such as Virtual Components or Process Simulate.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to validate technical solutions and ensure project feasibility.
(Preferred) Support the preparation of cost estimates for automation projects.
