Silo Block Lead

The Key Purpose of this role is to be responsible for managing the operations of the logistics function within Maltings, ensuring that raw materials and finished goods handling, storage and transportation function is executed in a safe, efficient and cost-effective manner whilst ensuring alignment with zone planning. Manage both the logistics Strategy and the VPO process. Through VPO practices, this role is to ensure that there is a superior performance relating to Governance against standards.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Maintaining workplace safety, housekeeping and risk-free standards and report any deviation.
• Ensure compliance to the OHS Act requirements.
• Provide visibility about Barley and Malt logistics, and performance indicator (Service Level, Inventory Levels, costs, performance, people development).
• Ensure autonomous operations and quality at source are executed in line with work instructions.
