Job Purpose The Shovel Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently operating a wheel loader (shovel) equipped with
two interchangeable attachments (blades/buckets)
for loading, transporting, stacking, and feeding raw materials to the production process. The role ensures continuous material supply, safe equipment operation, and compliance with company safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Equipment Operation
Operate a shovel/wheel loader fitted with
two working blades (attachments/buckets)
according to operational requirements.
Load, transport, stack, and unload raw materials, finished products, and waste materials.
Feed raw materials into hoppers, crushers, or designated production areas.
Ensure efficient movement of materials within the plant and storage yards.
Follow production schedules and supervisor instructions regarding material handling activities
