7–12 years in web/eCommerce engineering with at least 3–5 years in Shopify Plus.

Deep knowledge of:

Shopify Liquid, online store 2.0 — Must Have

Shopify Storefront API & Admin API (GraphQL/REST) — Must Have

Shopify Functions & Checkout Extensibility — Must Have

Node.js, Express, GraphQL — Good to Have

React.js/Next.js (for headless setups) — Good to Have

Strong experience with:

Webhooks, event-driven flows– Must Have

OAuth apps / private apps — Must Have

Serverless platforms (AWS Lambda, Cloudflare Workers, Vercel) — Nice to have

CI/CD, GitHub Actions, SonarQube, performance tools — Good to have

Architecture Skills

Ability to design high-availability, multi-region architectures. — Must Have

Past experience creating solution architecture documents, data flow diagrams, API specifications. — Must Have
