About the Role

We're hiring a Shopify-focused website developer to support multiple Shopify builds that are coming up soon. Most projects are currently in (or about to enter) the design phase. Once designs are approved, development begins.

Our approach is practical: we build the majority of the storefront using Shopify theme customization (leveraging theme settings, sections, blocks, templates), then apply custom coding when the theme reaches its limits. We need a developer who is excellent at both—efficient theme-first building and clean custom implementation when needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop Shopify storefronts from approved designs (Figma/Adobe XD/etc.)
  • Customize Shopify themes using theme settings, sections, and templates (Online Store 2.0)
  • Implement custom features and layouts using Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript when theme settings aren't enough
