Job Overview:

Martin Transportation Systems (MTS) is seeking an experienced Working Shop Foreman for our Columbia, TN terminal. This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for overseeing a three-shift maintenance operation while actively performing repairs and maintenance on tractors and trailers. Standard day shift hours apply, with responsibility for supporting all shifts.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support a three-shift maintenance operation.


• Perform hands-on maintenance and repairs on tractors and trailers.


• Coordinate shop workflow to maximize equipment uptime.


• Manage parts inventory and maintain accurate inventory records.


• Monitor maintenance costs, including tires and equipment repairs.


• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards.


• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
