Shop Administrator (Fleet Maintenance)


Full-Time | Day Shift | Permanent

First Student is the largest student transportation provider in North America, safely transporting millions of students every day. We’re looking for a highly organized and detail‑driven Shop Administrator to support our fleet maintenance operations in Winnipeg.

This position is essential to keeping our buses safe, compliant, and road‑ready by overseeing parts, work orders, and day‑to‑day shop coordination.

What You’ll Do

Parts & Inventory Coordination

  • Order, receive, and track parts for school buses and fleet vehicles
  • Issue and manage Purchase Orders (POs)
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and monitor backorders
  • Work closely with vendors to ensure timely delivery
  • Support warranty parts processing and documentation
  • Service Writing & Work Order Administration
