Overview
***This position is physically located in the Philippines in support of LOGCAP***
Under the supervision of the Supply Supervisor, the Shipping/Receiving Clerk performs clerical and physical tasks in connection with receiving and shipping materials in the Supply Support Activity (SSA)/Joint Theater Distribution Center (JTDC). The Shipping & Receiving Clerk, IAW with Supply Supervisor and established written guidance, will perform processing tasks associated with receiving, inspecting, processing, storing, and issuing government materiel. The Shipping and Receiving Clerk must work with other SSA personnel, Expediters, Transportation, and CRSP personnel to ensure accurate documentation, accountability, and coordinate shipping actions. Other tasks include verifying order accuracy for shipments against the documents; properly packaging shipments, verifying shipping information, and loading shipments as needed; checking for damaged shipments, maintaining good records ...
