Shipping Document Controller (Freight Forwarding)

A leading international organisation is seeking an experienced Shipping Document Controller to manage the end-to-end administration of import and export shipments across Africa.

This is not a warehouse or distribution logistics role. We are looking for a candidate with hands-on experience in freight forwarding, shipping documentation, import/export processes and container tracking

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and verify commercial invoices, packing lists and export documentation.


• Compile and manage Letter of Credit documentation.


• Coordinate and track international import and export shipments.


• Monitor container movements and proactively follow up on shipment status.


• Ensure Bills of Lading and all shipping documentation are accurate and issued on time.
