**Job Title: Shipping Clerk** **Job Description**
The Shipping Clerk prepares and packages parts for shipment, manages shipping documentation, and coordinates freight logistics. This role also supports inventory control activities and receiving operations to ensure accurate stock levels and efficient material flow throughout the facility.
**Responsibilities**
+ Prepare and package parts for shipment according to company standards and customer requirements.
+ Generate accurate bills of lading and other shipping documentation for outgoing shipments.
+ Arrange freight with carriers and coordinate pickup schedules to ensure on-time deliveries.
+ Perform regular cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory records.
+ Kit parts from stockroom locations based on work orders or production needs.
+ Process scrapped items in the system and ensure proper documentation and handling.
