As a Marine Electrician, you will be responsible for the preventative and corrective maintenance of shipboard electrical systems, ensuring their optimal performance. Your role involves troubleshooting and assisting ships' force with minor repairs and adjustments. You will utilize multi-meters, clamp meters, circuit tracers, meggers, and other tools to conduct ship-checks per NAVSEA drawings and technical manuals.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on shipboard electrical systems.
+ Troubleshoot and assist ships’ force with minor repairs and adjustments.
+ Utilize tools such as multi-meters, clamp meters, circuit tracers, and meggers.
+ Conduct ship-checks using NAVSEA drawings and technical manuals.
+ Support trades team by working on active class surface ships for fleet modernization.
+ Install, operate, maintain, repair, and modify equipment.
