Shift Supervisor

Primary Function

Supervise all areas of the Plant during off‑shift hours (Modified Work Week schedule). Ensure safety, quality, monitor production and troubleshoot equipment and process problems.

Organizational Relationships

Reports to the Production Manager.

Specific Responsibilities

• Ensure all health and safety regulations are enforced and complied with and that precautions are taken preventing potential hazards.
• Aware of planned manning and production schedules.
• Monitor the performance of scheduled equipment to ensure efficient production flow and achievement of production objectives.
• Work directly with Maintenance to troubleshoot equipment, process and quality problems while minimizing equipment downtime and inefficiency.
• Ensure communication with Department Supervisors through daily shift reports, email and direct communication at shift change.
