Job Description
SUMMARY
The Critical Environment Shift Operator is responsible for the provision of building operations, sustaining Critical Environments, Operating critical equipment in support of critical areas, responding to national equipment alarm systems, monitor elevator operations, lighting controls, boiler and chiller operations, fire alarm controls, monitoring the national call centre after hours and Base Building Automation Controls. These responsibilities are subject to change depending on the requirements of the contract. This job works on a wide variety of assigned tasks under the direction of the Maintenance Team Leader. There will be a training period of 4 to 6 months in order to become familiar with the facility and the various systems.
This opportunity has continental shifts which rotate between days and nights (ie. 3 on & 2 off, 2 on & 3 off). The shifts are 12 hours: Day shifts 6:00am – 6:00pm and Night shifts 6:00pm to 6:00am
