Shift Engineer - Electrical

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Conduct routine physical and visual checks on site machinery. Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical failures during machine breakdowns. This includes checking and tightening chain tensions, PECs, draining glue filters, slides, and bearings, as well as replacing heat wires and heat strips on shrink machines.
• Preventative Measures: Perform cleaning and lubrication of shafts, bearings, door catches, chains, and pushers as needed. Carry out essential system checks to maintain operational integrity.
• Equipment Operation: Operate forklift truck equipment as required to support maintenance activities.
• Safety & Compliance: Undertake all duties safely and strictly adhere to the Company's Health & Safety policy and practices.
• Testing & Monitoring: Conduct weekly testing of emergency generators and fire pumps (sprinkler system) to ensure their readiness.
