Sheet Metal/Cladder - Journeyperson/Apprentice

Job Overview

We are recruiting a Journeyperson/Apprentice - Sheet Metal /Cladder to join our team at the BHP Jansen Potash Mine in Jansen, SK. This position is based on a 14/7 rotation and is camp-based at the Jansen Discovery Lodge.

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, and shape sheet metal to specified dimensions using hand and power tools.
• Install external cladding systems, including metal wall panels, roofing sheets, trims, and flashings.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and cladding system specifications.
• Operate machinery such as brakes, shears, rollers, and seamers to form sheet metal.
• Ensure proper weatherproofing and sealing of joints and connections
• Fit insulation and vapor barriers beneath cladding systems as required.
• Work at heights using ladders, scaffolds, and mobile elevated work platforms.
