**Hiring: Sheet Metal Mechanic 30$ an Hour**
**This role is contracted to work in Newport News, Virginia and will pay $140/day in per diem in addition to your hourly wage.**
**Responsibilities**
+ Install foundations, ventilation systems, bulkheads, and shipboard furniture in accordance with engineering drawings and specifications.
+ Perform sheet metal fabrication shop work, including cutting, forming, and assembling metal components for shipboard applications.
+ Read and interpret complex ventilation assembly drawings, blueprints, and sketches, including weld symbols, material types, datum points, and reference lines.
+ Use fractional and decimal measurements accurately with rulers and other measuring tools to ensure precise layout and fit-up of parts.
+ Lay out piece parts for fabrication and assembly, ensuring correct dimensions, orientation, and material selection.
