Job Description

A Sheet Metal Foreperson oversees the daily operations of Sheet metal crews on construction and industrial sites, ensuring that work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to specifications. Their role includes hands-on supervision while maintaining communication with upper management.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Supervision & Coordination– Directs sheet metal crew members, assigns tasks, and ensures smooth workflow.

  • Worksite Planning– Organizes daily activities, reviews blueprints, and ensures materials and tools are ready for use.

  • Safety & Compliance– Enforces safety protocols, conducts inspections, and ensures adherence to regulations.

  • Quality Assurance– Monitors sheet metal installation for accuracy and compliance with standards.
