Course Description
This course instructs students on the application of geophysical techniques (including gravity and magnetic surveys, electromagnetics, resistivity and seismology) to important environmental issues, such as monitoring climate change and natural hazards, clean energy assessments, and how to build sustainable cities. It is lecture-based and teaches the societal importance of environmental geophysics as well as how to effectively communicate uncertainty when interpreting data.
