Server/Field Engineer – Johannesburg - R20 000 – R25 000 p.m (depending on experience and qualifications)

A leading company in Johannesburg is looking for a skilled Server/Field Engineer to manage, maintain, and optimize server and network environments for its clients. Responsibilities Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows & Linux servers Manage virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V) Handle backup, disaster recovery, and security compliance Administer Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and file servers Requirements 3+ years experience in server administration Expertise in Windows & Linux environments Familiarity with scripting & automation (Power Shell, Bash) Strong knowledge of cloud & monitoring tools (AWS, Azure, Nagios) Own transport required Preferred Qualifications Industry certifications (MCSA , MCSE , RHCSA , Comp TIA Server+ ) Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) Expertise with monitoring tools (Nagios, Solar Winds, Zabbix)
