Key Responsibilities Installation & Deployment Install, configure, and deploy Dell PowerEdge servers and associated hardware components (CPU, memory, storage, RAID controllers). Rack, cable, and power physical servers in data centers. Hardware Maintenance Perform regular preventive maintenance, firmware updates, and hardware diagnostics. Replace or upgrade faulty components (HDD/SSD, RAM modules, RAID controllers, power supplies, fans). Troubleshooting & Support Identify and resolve server hardware issues across production and non-production environments. Work with vendor support (Dell ProSupport) to diagnose and escalate complex hardware faults. Monitor server health using iDRAC, OpenManage, and system logs. Documentation Maintain accurate hardware inventory, asset tagging, and configuration records. Document hardware changes, maintenance procedures, and incident reports.
