General Purpose

Reporting to the Manager of Operations, the Sergeant is responsible for supervision, coordination, and leading a frontline operational platoon assigned to the Campus Safety Office. The Sergeant ensures the safety and security of the university community through proactive patrol supervision, incident response, investigations, policy enforcement, emergency management support, and community engagement. The Sergeant provides frontline leadership, mentorship, and administrative oversight while ensuring that all operations are conducted in accordance with University policies, applicable legislation, and operational goals.
