SENIOR WEB DEVELOPER

Overview

Design and develop web sites, applications and components of the Government of Nunavut Internet/Intranet environment.

Responsibilities

• Experience working with Project Managers and client departments to determine requirements and standards for web sites, web applications and web components.
• Test and perform defect resolution during development stage.
• Have experience in graphics, layouts, scripting, programming as well as development involving compatibility and integration with various technologies. Understanding of navigation and GUI’s for maximum usability.
• Graphic creation with Photoshop, Illustrator (Adobe Creative Suite) and multimedia creation with Flash and Macromedia Studio.
• Practical experience in development of HTML, Java script, CSS, SQL and Perl.
• Experience in some or all of the following: Java Server Pages, XML, PHP, Oracle, MS SQL, Cold Fusion Server, IIS Windows Server environment, Dr...
