Responsibilities

  • Conducting watershed and catchment area assessments.
  • Evaluating land use, land cover, erosion, and sedimentation issues.
  • Analyzing the impacts of upstream activities on river hydrology and flood behavior.
  • Developing watershed management and rehabilitation strategies.
  • Integrating watershed conservation measures into the master plan.
  • Coordinating with stakeholders on land-use and environmental management concerns.
  • Providing technical recommendations to improve basin-wide water and ecosystem sustainability.

Qualifications

  • Licensed Civil Engineer, Registered Environmental Planner, Forester, or related professional.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in watershed management and land-use planning.
  • Experience in assessing upstream catchment conditions.
  • Experience analyzing the impacts of watershed conditions on river basin hydrology.
