Senior VMware Engineer

Description:

Our client is looking for a senior VMWare Engineer to support the hosting team with their daily operational activities. The team is responsible for delivery of OS ready hosts and maintain the whole infrastructure within their on-premise Data Centers.

Activities

Managing daily tasks related to a complex and high-end VMware environment;

Develop the functionality and setup of new systems;

Write scripts and automate daily routines;

Improve quality of documentation and update configuration databases;

Manage incidents on 2nd and 3rd level, troubleshoot problems.

Competence:

At least a Senior experience level with hosting and maintaining VMware systems;

Proven experience with: VMware Cloud Foundation, vSAN and vRealize; VMware NSX-T: Manager, Edges, Advanced Load Balancers, Firewall rules, Tagging, Automation, Monitoring; VMware Aria Suite: Automation...
