Senior Underwriter

We are looking for a a highly skilled Senior Underwriter- Property & Construction- that will support the Starr Insurance Companies’ operations in Mexico City.

Responsabilities

• Generate new business and renewal submissions for inward direct insurance from local brokers and or agents for a well-balanced and profitable Onshore Tech Lines portfolio (Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, Chemicals, Pharmaceuticals, Utilities, Process Industries, Mining, Steel, and Pulp & Paper) and Commercial Property and Construction Insurance.
• Underwrite Property, Technical Lines and Construction inward direct insurance business in Mexico on the basis of delegated underwriting authority and with support from Regional Profit Centers.
• Cross-sell with Regional Profit Center Managers for Casualty, Financial Lines, Marine and Aviation to develop submissions on an inward direct insurance broker.
