Senior Transportation Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Transportation Engineer for a well established engineering consulting client of ours in the Vancouver area. The Transportation Engineer will work closely with team a team of Project Managers and Traffic Engineers and will prepare design calculations, conduct traffic analysis, perform field visits, write proposals, create reports, and communicate with various parties on projects.

Responsibilities

• Complete Traffic Engineering analyses with respect to mobility and safety
• Complete and supervise traffic modelling assignments
• Lead the development of traffic management studies and traffic control plans
• Prepare technical reports to summarize analysis methodology and findings
• Maintain complete traffic engineering and design records
• Supervise and Mentor EITs and designers
