Purpose of the Job

The Senior Tourism Officer is responsible for facilitating the growth, diversification, and sustainability of Lesotho's tourism sector through enterprise development and investor aftercare services. The incumbent supports tourism entrepreneurs and provides investor aftercare services for business retention and expansion (BRE), strengthens tourism value chains, and develops bankable tourism investment concepts that contribute to economic growth, employment creation, and community development. The Officer also supports policy implementation, stakeholder engagement, and strategic initiatives aimed at improving the competitiveness of Lesotho as a tourism investment destination.
