Senior Technician, Design Support

Responsibilities

• Prepare engineering models and drawings in accordance with the company requirements and standards.
• Liaise with other Technicians, Engineers as well as other WSP offices regarding work issues and deadlines.
• Check / ensure drawings comply with specific Project Design Brief Instructions and all details are being carried out correctly to WSP Standards and QA Procedures.
• May function as Team Lead technician and manage the modelling and detailing aspects on projects including planning and controlling of deliverables, resource management, and maintaining communication between engineering and drafting staff on the project.
• Supervise drawing issues, prioritize work packages and liaise with the document controller to ensure issue dates and work packages are sent on time and to the correct contacts.
