Job Description
We are seeking a senior C systems engineer to build, debug, and stabilize iFuse (libimobiledevice FUSE client) on macOS (Ventura/Sonoma, Intel & Apple Silicon) and assess/implement a Windows-compatible build.
Scope of Work:
Resolve compilation failures (e.g., ifuse.o) and dependency mismatches
Align macFUSE (4.x), libimobiledevice stack, usbmuxd, libplist, and related components
Ensure architecture consistency (arm64 vs x86_64) and proper SDK/toolchain usage
Validate pkg-config paths and autotools configuration
Produce reproducible build scripts and deployment documentation
Evaluate Windows implementation using WinFsp or equivalent FUSE layer
Provide recommendations for cross-platform maintainability
Technical Requirements:
Strong C programming and POSIX systems experience
Deep familiarity with FUSE internals (macFUSE / WinFsp)
Experience with autotools (autoconf, automake, libtool), pkg-config
Experience compiling and debugging open-source system...
