Job Description

The Senior Systems Engineer will join the Enterprise Compute Infrastructure team, responsible for compute, enterprise storage, virtualization, and backup technologies.

This role focuses on engineering and operational responsibilities with an emphasis on Linux and storage systems.

The ideal candidate will possess strong troubleshooting skills, automation experience, and the ability to work independently to meet team goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full lifecycle of Linux servers (on-premises and cloud), including deployment, maintenance, security, and decommissioning.
  • Lead security initiatives to harden Linux environments using OS firewalling, SELinux, auditd, encryption, MFA, etc.
  • Identify and implement automation opportunities to improve operational efficiency across systems and storage technologies.
