Serving as South Africa's national social science council, HSRC bridges the gap between research, policy, and action to ensure tangible impacts. With six multidisciplinary research programs and centers tailored to user needs, HSRC partners with institutions such as government bodies, universities, NGOs, and donor organizations. It employs nearly 500 dedicated professionals across six offices in South Africa, responding effectively to current and emerging societal challenges.
