Senior Supply Chain Manager

Responsibilities

: • Drive continuous improvement at all locations, including both customer and Penske processes. Understand the strategic needs and align resources to develop solutions. Review operating metrics and fixes out-of-tolerance results. Look for opportunities to grow existing operation. • Responsible for day-to-day execution of all account activities. Monitors carrier performance to optimize value delivered to the customer. Quickly resolve any operations issues to eliminate production loss or transportation service failures & communicate with customer. Provide leadership to team members in identifying project risks early and guide them in developing appropriate mitigation plans. • Create and administer training and development plans for Supply Chain Manager as well as high performing staff members.
