Job Description

Senior Structural Timber Designer required in Port Elizabeth.

Requirements:

  • 5 years’ experience in the timber structural design
  • Advanced experience with design software such as ITS, MiTek, Multinail or Pamir
  • Strong knowledge of structural design principles, timber engineering, and building regulations
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills

Key Performance Areas:

  • Design and optimise complex timber structural systems
  • Perform load calculations and structural analysis
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and client specifications
  • Prepare detailed manufacturing documentation and layouts
  • Provide technical support to production, sales, clients and project teams
  • Assist with project delivery from concept through to installation
