Senior Structural Engineer

Overview

The position of Senior Structural Engineer is to assist with engineering design work on projects within the Australian mining industry. Typical projects include steel and concrete structures to support process and non-process facilities, plant services, rail and port facilities.

Candidates are to demonstrate the following experience

• Australian project design experience within Mining/Heavy Industry: (targets)
• Design of steel buildings and building footings,
• Design of industrial floors, walkways and access ways,
• Design of crane runways and/or monorail beams,
• Design of steel storage tanks/silos,
• Design of reinforced concrete footings for tanks, pumps, and other process equipment,
• Design of trafficable floor slabs in open areas as well as for buildings,
• Design of reinforced concrete retaining walls and tanks.
