Job Description
Our client is looking for a SQL Database Support Engineer to provide operational and enhancement support for business-critical databases within an agile delivery environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide incident support for supported databases, including defect resolution, service requests, fixing, and testing
Participate in on-call support for supported databases
Deliver database enhancements aligned to backlog items within scope
Propose prioritisation and re-prioritisation of tickets in collaboration with the client, noting that final priority sign-off remains with the client
Work closely with the client's team members as part of an agile team, with deliverables managed through sprint cycles
Attend and actively participate in daily stand-up meetings, providing updates on work-in-progress (WIP) items
Perform unit testing of all database fixes in the test environment
Present approved changes to the Change Approval Board (CAB) and implement changes following...
