Indicative Job Grade: Senior Software Engineer / Technical Specialist
Job Objectives
Implement quarterly release changes related to enhancements in the API Team. Work within a microservices architecture using Java Spring Boot or Axway API Gateway, and contribute to the development, tuning, and integration of services and databases.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and enhance a Java Spring Boot based application or Axway API Gateway integrations.
Collaborate with solution architects and business analysts to understand functional requirements.
Perform impact analysis and implement changes in Java code, Axway policies, and Oracle database schemas.
Optimize Oracle database performance and tune queries for scalability.
Participate in Quarterly Release cycle including planning, development, testing, and retrospectives.
Ensure code quality through unit testing, policy validation, and code reviews.
