Role Overview

Senior Test Development Engineer at Leica Microsystems is responsible for introducing new test equipment and improving, sustaining, and optimizing the quality, cost, and productivity performance of existing products. This on‑site role reports to the Manager, Engineering Applied in Singapore.

Responsibilities
  • Support the development and maintenance of Functional Circuit Tester (FCT) for PCBA and electronics subsystem
  • Design and develop camera test and calibration software application
  • Prepare software validation plan and perform test qualification for deployment into production
  • Identify and drive cost‑reduction and continuous‑improvement projects
  • Work closely with project team for new‑product testing, development and prototype production
