About The Team
The Frontend Infrastructure team, part of the User Experience Foundations (UXF) group, is an eight-person engineering team supported by an engineering manader and product manager. The team builds and maintains the frameworks, tools, and systems that make it faster and easier for Etsy’s engineers and designers to create high-quality, performant user experiences across the site.
About The Role
The contractor will support the Frontend Infrastructure team to enhance Etsy’s frontend development ecosystem. This work will focus on improving frameworks, build systems, and tooling that empower engineers and designers to create performant, reliable, and accessible user experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Designing, implementing, and improving core frontend infrastructure, including Etsy’s server-side rendered React stack and modern JavaScript build pipelines (e.g., Vite).
