Software Developer Level 3
IT Development
OVERVIEW/GENERAL PURPOSE OF POSITION
The Software Developer Level 3 reviews, analyzes, designs, and develops, unit tests, benchmarks, debugs and documents large and complex software systems. Able to leverage experiences and sound judgment to plan and accomplish complicated tasks. Able to assist and mentor other developers and may be asked to lead small to medium-sized projects when business needs arise.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs program design, development, benchmark and unit testing, debugging, and documentation.
Able to work independently and just consults the lead or manager from time to time.
Effectively collaborates across teams and can lead those interactions inside and outside the department.
May be asked to lead small to medium-complexity projects, when business needs require for it.
