Senior Product Engineer – Applied AI (Amsterdam)

Most AI roles I see are smoke and mirrors.

Demos. Dashboards. “Prompt engineering”.

Looks clever. Does nothing. This one’s different.

Small team building software for CFOs that actually explains what’s going on in the business.

Not charts.

Proper reasoning.

Plug into messy finance data (ERP, billing, spreadsheets, forecasts) and the system tells you:

“margin dropped because X”

“cash is tight in 6 weeks because Y”

“this is the lever to pull next”

So it’s less “AI feature” and more building the brain of the product. They’re at that sweet spot right now:customers live, money in, but still early enough that 2–3 engineers basically shape everything.

Meaning this isn’t “join and pick up tickets”.
