Job Description
• Documented experience engineering web and mobile applications natively compliant with
WCAG 2.1 Level AA accessibility specifications.
• Strong technical knowledge of cross-platform PWA development architectures, including
service workers, local database caching systems (IndexedDB), and localized background sync
event handlers.
• Hands-on technical experience with speech recognition APIs (Web Speech API or equivalent
open-source voice models).
• Direct, proven methodology conducting human-centric usability evaluations alongside
individuals possessing visual impairments (blindness and low vision).
• Verifiable understanding of Kenya's Data Protection Act 2019, including direct workflows
managing Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and coordinating approvals with the
ODPC.
• Availability of localized software infrastructure s
