Social Worker, Family Help

Hybrid Arrangement - 3 days on site

Rate - £41

DfE Requirement – 3 years perm cumulative experience with English Local Authority (Including ASYE). Please ensure this is highlighted on the CV.

Responsibilities

  • Work alongside families using a Restorative Model of practice, supporting family‑led decision making and Motivational Interviewing skills.
  • Provide targeted support packages that help families access resources, fostering meaningful and lasting change.
  • Coordinate support with other professionals, including Child Practitioners, Drug and Alcohol practitioners, Probation Officers, Domestic Abuse Workers and Mental Health Practitioners.
  • Deliver a whole‑family approach through the Family Safeguarding model, including assessment, co‑ordinated plans, child protection plans, pre‑proceedings and care proceedings.
