Senior Site Reliability Engineer – Canonical
Canonical is a leading provider of open source software and operating systems. Our platform, Ubuntu, is used in public cloud, data science, AI, engineering innovation and IoT. This is a globally remote Senior Site Reliability Engineer position.
Responsibilities
- Own and operate private cloud, Kubernetes and application clusters.
- Design and run OpenStack, Kubernetes and software‑defined storage.
- Automate infrastructure via pure Python infra‑as‑code.
- Practice devsecops from bare metal to applications.
- Drive upgrades to keep customers on the latest open source solutions.
- Work in a high‑pressure operations environment with mission‑critical services.
Qualifications
- Degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science.
- Experience with Linux networking and storage.
- Python software development expertise.
