Senior Robotics Engineer — Deployment & Controls (Mobile & Bipedal)

Own deployment and control of Datamentors robots in the real world — controllers for mobile and bipedal platforms, with a strong emphasis on robustness in the field.

• Develop and tune controllers for bipedal and mobile robots (whole-body control, locomotion)
• Own the deployment pipeline: from policy to reliable, safe on-robot operation
• Lead field testing, robustness and failure-mode analysis
• Drive sim-to-real for locomotion and navigation
• Build the tooling that makes robot deployment repeatable and safe

Requirements

• 5+ years in robotics with a focus on controls and/or deployment
• Hands-on real-world experience with bipedal / legged and/or mobile robots
• Expert in ROS2, real-time control and locomotion controllers
• Proven experience deploying robots in real environments, not just simulation
• Strong debugging and field-engineering instincts
