We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Researcher / Postdoctoral Researcher to join the EU‑funded INITIALISE project, coordinated at the University of Turku. The project investigates early‑life determinants of immune system development through large‑scale, longitudinal multi‑omics studies, integrating data across multiple birth cohorts and experimental models.

Our research focuses on combining large‑scale molecular data – including metabolomics, lipidomics, genomics, proteomics, glycomics and microbiome data – with advanced computational approaches to uncover mechanisms underlying complex diseases and to develop predictive, clinically actionable models.
