Job Description CTR Group is seeking a SENIOR QUALITY INSPECTOR for an Aerospace Company in the Newport News, VA, area. Immediate opening and urgently hiring! Pay Rate: Open SUMMARY: The Sr. Quality Inspector tests and inspects aerospace and marine prototype hardware and assemblies, at various stages of the production process. Responsibilities: Evaluate data and write inspection reports to validate or indicate deviations from existing standards and document other critical characteristics, processes and materials. Inspect complex contoured surfaces using multi-axis coordinate measuring machine and associated computer software; accurately measures with hand-held precision measuring tools. Program, set-up and verify inspection programs for multi-axis coordinate measuring machine. Interpret engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, or formulas and confers with engineering staff to determine quality tolerance, specifications and reliability standards.
