Job Description

Our client is looking to add a highly experienced Backend Engineer to lead architecture, build scalable systems, and deliver high-impact features for enterprise-grade platforms. Requires deep backend expertise, strong ownership, and the ability to guide other engineers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead design and development of core backend services and large-scale distributed systems.
  • Own features end-to-end: design, implementation, testing, deployment.
  • Drive best practices in code quality, testing, observability, and documentation.
  • Mentor engineers and support cross-functional planning with Product and Design.
  • Ensure operational excellence through monitoring, incident response, and system optimisation.
