Job Description


Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior Python AI Engineer (Agentic Systems & MCP) with our client in the financial industry located in Pennington, NJ and Plano, TX. This is a 12+ month contract position.


Responsibilities:
  • Architect and build autonomous, agent-based systems
  • Focus on moving beyond simple LLM prompts into Agentic Applications—systems capable of reasoning, using tools, and executing complex workflows
  • Lead the implementation of the Model Context Protocol (MCP) to create a standardized, secure bridge between AI models and diverse data ecosystems
  • Build and optimize autonomous agents using Python frameworks such as LangGraph, CrewAI, or PydanticAI; focus on multi-step reasoning and self-healing loops
  • Architect and set up MCP Servers and MCP Clients to provide LLMs with structured access to local and remote resources (databases, APIs, and file systems)
