Job Description
*Job Summary*
You will be responsible for ensuring our fleet remains safe, reliable and fully compliant with DVSA requirements. You will oversee the day-to-day running of the workshop while carrying out inspections, servicing, diagnostics and repairs.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out Preventative Maintenance Inspections (PMIs) to DVSA standards.
* Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic faults.
* Service, maintain and repair PSV and HGV vehicles.
* Prepare vehicles for MOT and carry out any required rectification work.
* Ensure all maintenance records and inspection paperwork are completed accurately.
* Plan and manage workshop schedules to minimise vehicle downtime.
* Order parts and manage workshop stock.
* Maintain a safe, clean and organised workshop.
